Vertical sculpture with green-patinated funnel, glass stoppers, and coiled heat exchanger illuminated from within by a small bulb
Spirale en Vert

Spirale en Vert is built from a copper coil, likely a heat-transfer spring, and a funnel mounted upside-down, both marked by strong green patina. Inside the funnel, a small incandescent bulb illuminates the interior, casting subtle light through the spiral. Two glass bottle stoppers—like those used for wine decanters—are embedded on either side of the funnel, positioned like sightlines or ports. Though assembled from found components, the arrangement is deliberate—each part placed with consideration for proportion, orientation, and balance. The result is compact, vertical, and suggestive of a device built for a purpose that’s no longer clear.
