Reactive Bodies
Constructed from chemistry glassware and mounted on a weathered black briefcase, Reactive Bodies reimagines scientific vessels as illuminated forms. Each vertical structure, once used in laboratories, now carries light through bends, bulbs, and spherical chambers. The three upright forms hover between function and figuration—their postures allow for both scientific and anthropomorphic interpretations.
The work evokes the choreography of interaction—materials once used to mix, contain, and sometimes combust now take on a more ambiguous role. The suggestion of fluid exchange, of tension and release, echoes both laboratory process and human entanglement.
