Black plastic bra fitted with vintage red taillights in place of nipples, mounted on mannequin torso in Dada style
Feu Rouge

This bra is made from the tail light covers of a vintage French car, wired to illuminate. Displayed on a mannequin torso, it can also be removed and worn—blurring the line between sculpture, readymade, and performance object. The tail light covers, once meant to signal braking or turning, now signal humor or provocation—depending on the perspective of the viewer.

The piece belongs to the lineage of Dada and Pop Art, where utility is reimagined and context is transformed. Its title, Feu Rouge, ties the work to both the literal red lights of the automobile and the cultural echo of the red-light district, creating a work that is equal parts industrial artifact and irreverent gesture.
