Abstract composition of muted rose red and gray geometric shapes with hints of green, balancing softness and structure with subtle texture

Margaux

Softly rendered in three complementary hues, Margaux balances chromatic restraint with subtle tonal interplay. Though built from a photographic process, the image takes on a pastel-like texture, with areas that evoke the dry grain of charcoal on paper. The underlying letterform—derived from the letter B—is abstracted nearly to the point of disappearance, with only the negative spaces at its center offering a trace of its origin. Hints of green along either side add dimension to the muted palette and gently anchor the composition. The piece resists symmetry, instead drawing strength from the delicate tension between softness and structure.
