The rounded motif at the middle of the typewriter and the oval glass were the starting point and inspiration for this sculpture. Originally, I tried to "push it" in a new direction, but because it's typewriter qualities were so strong, I decided to play with and reinforce these...adding the hand at the left, illuminating the keys, putting paper in the roller with lights behind.
