Fish Trap

This form is an example of a found or industrial object whose aesthetic quality is so complete that any modification or addition would detract from its original design. I only added paper and LEDs to complete what was already a beautiful trap for catching fish.

Even though this form's primary purpose was functional, it is clear that whoever designed it had a very strong aesthetic sense. Its form is timeless and there is no indication as to when it was created. Feminine in shape, it has fishlike properties with metal mesh representing fish scales and base representing a fish tale. Repetition is achieved with the cone inside the larger structure.
